The 2017 Holiday Gift Guides are out!

You can pick up both the Children’s and the Adult/Teen guides at the front desk. But that’s not all the Holiday gift-giving goodness we’ve got going.   This month’s Main Reading Room display, Ghosts of Gift-guides Past, is drawn from previous years’ gift guides. As usual, we’ve got an online list of the display along with links to where you can download most of the titles.

We’ve also made online lists of the current Children and Adult/Teen guides themselves. While we think these books will make good gifts, you don’t have to take our word for it. You can get more reviews from our online resources. Or you can look in back issues of the New Yorker or the New York Review of Books available through RBdigital Magazines (formerly Zinio). Heck, a search using PressReader reveals the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel also recommended Laurent Binet’s The Seventh Function of Language.

If this is all a little confusing, make an appointment for a one-on-one session with a librarian during a Tech Tuesday. If Tuesdays are no good, contact Liam Hegarty at 834-2281 x114 or whegarty@wlsmail.org to set up a time.
