We’re partnering with the Larchmont and Mamaroneck Lions to promote eye health year-round! The Lions’ eye glass recycling boxes are located throughout the community, including the library. The Lions provide the library annually with funds to purchase large print reading materials and audio books. Additionally, the Lions provide guide dogs for the blind, screen preschoolers for abnormal vision and much more.
Visit the New York Historical Society in Manhattan now through June 4 and enjoy A HUDSON RIVER SCHOOL LEGACY: The Newman Bequest and Other Gifts. On view are works assembled over some two decades by Arthur and Eileen Newman and includes landscapes and still lifes painted between 1845 and 1880.
