MINUTES OF SPECIAL LIBRARY BOARD MEETING

NOVEMBER 20, 2008

The Larchmont Public Library Board of Trustees met on Thursday, November 20, 2008. The meeting was convened at 9:40AM.  Present were Trustees Carolyn Parlato, John McGarr and Maureen LeBlanc and Board Chair Miriam Curnin.

The motion was made by Carolyn Parlato and seconded by Maureen LeBlanc that the Library Board of Trustees authorizes Denis Brucciani, Treasurer of the Village of Larchmont, to establish and maintain Certificates of Deposit accounts for the Larchmont Public Library Children’s Room Renovation Fund at the United States subsidiaries of TD Bank and HSBC.

Such deposits shall be established in accordance with the investment policies of the Village of Larchmont.

Amounts and maturities of the deposits shall be determined by the Library Board treasurer in consultation with the Village of Larchmont treasurer.

The motion passed by unanimous vote.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:05AM.
