All residents of the Village of Larchmont and the unincorporated area of the Town of Mamaroneck may join the Library without charge. Your Library card will be honored at any of the 37 other public libraries in Westchester County. Anyone who lives outside Westchester but works in Larchmont or the Town of Mamaroneck is also entitled to a card. Children who can write their name and have parental permission in writing may have a card.
A Library card should be treated with the same care as a credit card. Please report lost cards immediately. For the protection of its borrowers, the Library reserves the right to ask for back-up identification at any time.
Your Library Card Number is 14 digits long and can be found under the barcode. You need the number to place holds, to use the Online Resources, or to check your library account. It's a good idea to have your card handy when you call the Library.
