Dr. Colleen Carroll helps parents who are tired of fighting the battle against screen time and want to help their child choose to read instead. In this talk, parents will learn how to create a reader-friendly home that beckons children to read, along with four more easy steps to get your child to put down the video games and social media and enjoy reading.

Come enjoy all the scarecrows on the front lawn of the library and VOTE for your favorite! Voting will take place from 12pm to 2pm during the annual Ragamuffin Parade on Saturday, October 21. The three scarecrows with the most votes will be displayed in the library. Don't miss the fun by being a part of this Larchmont Halloween tradition!
