Take Larchmont exit (immediately after toll). You will cross the highway. At the end of the ramp, proceed straight onto New Jefferson. Go one long block to the end of New Jefferson.
Turn right. You will be on Chatsworth Avenue. Continue on Chatsworth back across the New England Thruway and railroad
tracks to Boston Post Road (Rte 1).
Turn right onto Boston Post Road. Then continue one block and turn left onto Larchmont
Avenue. Larchmont Public Library is the second building on the left. Park on the street.
Take Exit 18, towards Mamaroneck Ave. Stay on Mamaroneck Ave. to its end (approximately one mile). Turn right onto the Post Road (Rte. 1). Stay on the Post Road for approximately 1½ miles. Turn left onto Larchmont Ave. Larchmont Public Library is the second building on the left. Park on the street.
Southbound, take Exit 20 or Northbound take exit 21 for Weaver Street (Rte 125). Turn Left onto Weaver Street (the Southbound exit loops around so the Library is always a left hand turn). Continue on Weaver across the New England Thruway and railroad tracks approximately 3 miles to the Boston Post Road (Rte 1). Turn right and continue to Larchmont Avenue (3rd light). Then turn left onto Larchmont Avenue. The Larchmont Library is the second building on your left. Park on the street.
Larchmont is a stop on Metro
North's New Haven Line. The Library is less than a mile walk from the Larchmont Railroad
Station.
Walk up the stairs at the western end of the platform (This is toward the rear of the train
if you are coming from New York City and towards the front of the train if you are coming
from Connecticut). At the top of the stairs, you are on Chatsworth Avenue. Turn left. Walk on
Chatsworth until you reach the Post Road. Turn right. Larchmont Avenue is your next left and
the Library is the second building on your left across the street from the Firehouse. You do
not have to park on the street because you walked.
The Beeline's number 60 bus stops right
at the intersection of the Boston Post Road and Larchmont Avenue. The Library is just a few
steps south of the Post Road, opposite the Fire Station.
