Teen Gaming Afternoon

Grades 6 and up. Friday, March 31 from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Michael P. Coords Activity Room. No registration required. We’ll set up the Wii U, xBox, and board games. Of course, we’ll have plenty of snacks too.  Come join the fun.

5th Annual Larchmont Spelling Bee

4:00 pm - 5:30 pm



Sunday, April 2 at 4:00pm. Larchmont Temple, 75 Larchmont Avenue (Corner of Willow & Larchmont). No registration required. The Friends of the Larchmont Public Library will present its fifth annual Spelling Bee for Adults and Teens on Sunday, April 3, commencing at 4pm. The Spelling Bee will be held in the Social Hall at Larchmont Temple, 75 Larchmont Avenue. Admission is free for spectators and refreshments will be available at 3:30pm. Lou Young, Larchmont resident and CBS-TV news personality, will once again serve as Master of Ceremonies. The judges for this year’s Bee are Nancy Seligson, Mamaroneck Town Supervisor; Lorraine Walsh, Village of Larchmont Mayor; and George Latimer, New York State Senator. It’s going to be a fun and exciting event; so Bee there! Sponsored by the Friends of the Larchmont Public Library.

Become a Reading Mentor

Grades 6 and up. Monday, April 10 from 10:30am to 2:00pm. Michael P. Coords Activity Room. Online registration required. If you love reading and would like to work with younger children, join us for this new program.  We’ll meet at 10:30am to develop a fun literacy-based program for children ages 5 to 7. Super Smash Bros. Tournament
