Book Award Madness Heats Up

It’s been a busy time for bibliophiles. On Tuesday the 13th, A Brief History of Seven Killings, by Marlon James, won the Mann Booker Prize.  The next morning, the National Book Award finalists in Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry and Young People’s Literature were revealed. Click on each category above to get a handy-dandy list and to place holds.

If you are looking for an eBook version of a title, rather than use the regular catalog, we suggest you go to Overdrive directly and look for it there. eBooks purchased by individual libraries do not appear in the regular catalog.

The National Book Award winners will be announced on November 18.

The Mann Booker Prize is awarded to the best novel in English published in the United Kingdom.
