Minutes of Special Meeting

February 21, 2018

The Larchmont Public Library Board of Trustees met on February 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., attended by Board Chair Pamela Dubitsky (PD), Trustees Jennifer Conley (JC), Lauren Gottfried (LG), John McGarr (JM) and Linnet Tse (LT) and Library Director Laura Eckley.
Board Chair Dubitsky called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.
The Board reviewed a Grant Disbursement Agreement from the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) for a $100,000 grant obtained through the office of former NY State Senator George Latimer. LT made a motion, seconded by LG, to approve the following resolution, which the Board then passed unanimously:

Resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the Larchmont Public Library, having reviewed the Grant Disbursement Agreement (“GDA”) between the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) and the Larchmont Public Library, in reference to Project ID #7249, for disbursement of a grant of $100,000 in connection with the 2016 Library Transformation, and having obtained review of the GDA by the Library’s legal counsel, hereby authorizes Library Board Chair Pamela Dubitsky and Library Director Laura Eckley to sign the GDA on behalf of the Board.

PD thanked former NY State Senator George Latimer for his ongoing support of the Larchmont Public Library and his generous assistance in helping the Library obtain this grant to help cover costs associated with the renovation of the main building during the 2016 Library Transformation.
Board Chair Dubitsky adjourned the meeting at 2:10 p.m.
