“Fluidity of Motions” is a body of abstract, design, and picturesque pieces, in oils and acrylics, on canvas and cradleboard.
Lorraine earned her BFA in Studio Art from The College of New Rochelle in 1987. Over the years, she never limited herself to one particular style, but instead came up with different approaches for each of her canvases. Lorraine’s recent commissions include work that is both picturesque and abstract – and sometimes both in one piece!
Having grown up in Larchmont, and having only recently begun showing her work publicly, the Larchmont Library’s show is a wonderful opportunity to bring together her love of painting, with her love of the village she grew up in.
