Thursdays at 10:00am. January 24 and February 7, 21. Village Center. No registration required. In barely more than two centuries, the United States evolved from a sparsely settled handful of colonies whose very survival was in grave doubt into the most powerful nation the world has ever known. Dr. Mark Stoler, Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Vermont leads these DVD lectures. There will be a discussion period following each lecture led by one of our Reference Librarians.
