Bernard Carlson, you will come to appreciate how technology undergirds history, defining and shaping daily life, social structure, and how humans find meaning in the world. Dr. W. Bernard Carlson is a professor in the Department of Engineering and Society at the University of Virginia, where he directs the Engineering Business Program.
