Investigative Storytelling: A Conversation with Patrick Radden Keefe

Patrick Radden Keefe is the author of the New York Times bestseller Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland, winner of the Orwell Prize. He will discuss his acclaimed new book, which grew out of a piece published in The New Yorker, and more generally about life at the magazine as an investigative journalist. Patrick’s work has also appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Slate, New York, and The New York Review of Books, among others, and he is a frequent commentator on NPR, the BBC, and MSNBC. Patrick received the 2014 National Magazine Award for Feature Writing, for his story “A Loaded Gun,” and is also the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship.
