New York Skyscrapers: 1870-1931 with Kevin Woyce
Thursday, July 29th at 7:00 pm. Using original photographs and historic images, Kevin will tell the stories of New York’s greatest skyscrapers, from the 1890 New York World building to the Woolworth, Chrysler, and Empire State buildings of the early 1930s. He will explain how and why these landmarks were built, and introduce the architects and businessmen whose visions shaped the world-famous skyline. Kevin Woyce is an author, photographer, and lecturer specializing in regional American history.
