Friday, July 13 at 2:00pm. Village Center. No registration required. Come join National Park Ranger Eliza Rasmussen to discuss the history and legacy of the Treaty of Portsmouth.  Relegated to the footnotes of history, the Treaty of Portsmouth actually has a remarkable lasting legacy on the history of Asia and lead to President Theodore Roosevelt receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906. Eliza Rasmussen has been the National Park Ranger at the Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace National Historic Site since May 2017.
