Week of November 30th. Ages 3 and up. Last week was turkey, this week has also gone to the birds. Make an owl with your handprints. One kit per child limit. Materials needed at home: Glue and paint or inkpad.

All ages. December 1st through January 1st. Come to Constitution Park and get some exercise while enjoying the famous book about cheeky snowmen. Each page will be posted to a sign and you can enjoy the book at your leisure. You can also sign up to receive a snowman goodie bag, complete with a craft, hot chocolate and a special snowman surprise! We have 100 goodie bags so supplies are limited.

Ages 3-4. Tuesdays, December 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th at 3:45 pm. Registration required. Join children’s librarian Erin for themed stories and a fun craft!
December 1st: Cookie Storytime. Craft materials needed: Construction paper, plain paper plate, crayons, scissors, and glue stick.
December 8th: Welcome Winter Storytime. Craft materials needed: Construction paper, crayons, glue stick, scissors, white tempera paint, and paintbrush or Q-tip.
December 15th: Holiday Storytime. Craft materials needed: Jumbo craft sticks, markers, glue, ribbon, and construction paper.
December 22nd: Gingerbread Man Storytime. Craft materials needed: Construction paper, glue stick, scissors, and crayons.
December 29th: Laugh Out Loud Storytime: Construction paper, plain paper plate, crayons, scissors, and glue.
You will be registering for all dates but we understand if you are unable to attend some of them

Wednesdays, December 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd at 3:45 pm. Ages 6-10. This program is fully booked. Each month, we’ll put the spotlight on a different artist and create projects in that artist’s style. Children’s Librarian Erin will introduce the artist of the month, show examples of the artist’s work, and guide participants through different projects each week. December’s artist of the month is Van Gogh. Materials needed: crayons, watercolor paint set, tissue paper, glue, markers, construction paper, paint pad. Watercolor paint set and paint pad can be picked up during browsing hours in the children’s room for those registered.
