Zoom with the Friends – COVID Vaccines: Ask an Expert!
Sunday, January 3rd, at 4:00 pm. Please join us for a conversation with NYU epidemiologist Danielle Ompad.
Will there be enough vaccines for all of us? When can you expect to be vaccinated? Are the vaccines safe? How will distribution work? Other than Pfizer and Moderna, which companies are next in the pipeline? What will the new normal look like after we achieve herd immunity? Will masks be with us from now on?
Dr. Ompad is the Associate Dean for Education and Associate Professor at NYU’s School of Global Public Health. Her work is focused in the area of adult access to vaccines, urban health, HIV, and illicit drug use. She is the deputy director of the Center for Drug Use and HIV/HCV Research.
